NATIONAL YOUTH LEADER TRAINING (NYLT) - Scouts will learn, live, work, and develop as patrols for a full six days modeling a month of troop meetings in a unit - three Troop meetings and an outpost camp. It will prepare scouts to be SPL, ASPL, PL and other troop positions. The course uses the patrol method and models Patrol Leaders? Council meetings and skill sessions to guide patrols on their "Quest for the Meaning of Leadership" to help participants develop leadership and teamwork skills they can take back to their units.
